About Digital Insomnia Recordings:
The CEO of Digital Insomnia Recordings is Darren Bayton and was one of the former founders of successful 90's Trance duo PINKBOMB. 

In 2005 the Digital Insomnia Recordings label and publishing company was set up to host Darren's own music alongside Dave Andrews as The Rhythm Purists, but only began to take on other artists in April 2007.

Darren & Dave serve as "The Rhythm Purists" and are the biggest artist on the label. Under the name of "The Rhythm Purists" they had a big release on NINE Records out of Chicago called "Outta My Life" with remixes from Mike Gillenwater, Bryan Jones, Paul Anthony & ZXX.

Darren as also recently launched himself off the back of the former PINKBOMB name that saw many trance anthems on the Global Underground / Quad Communications label back in the late 90's. Go check out his new remix work here alongside up and coming producer SJR. www.myspace.com/darrenbayton

In 2000 after PINKBOMB split Darren also went onto other things including running sucessful events under the name of Flirt again along side Dave Andrews.

Dave Andrews is no stranger to the music scene either. Starting out at the age of 17 on the early RAVE Scene as Prime Attack. And also signed to Serious Records plus many other big labels years gone by. This is what makes them a perfect dj & production team when they hit the studio.

The name of Digital Insomnia was originally a DJ name thought up in 2002 by Darren because of his obsession with late nights and early mornings making music. The company was registered as a Limited Music Company in 2005. The label and publishing company side of things were launched in April 2007.

The label has also seen the signing of some very talented young producers. Look out for releases by Artists - SJR (Trance), Ben Hunt (Trance), Liquid Vision (Trance), Samson (Deep House / Electro) & Electric Pill (House / Deep House) Bodybeat Progression, With more artists also waiting to be signed.

Also recently in September 2008 saw the welcoming of new A&R Manager, Brian Gaughan aka DJ F.S.O.U.K. This guy has injected some amazing energy into the label and is working closely with all of the Artists to take them forward into 2009. Brian has alot of passion for music and always wants to see the best from peoples talent. Nothing displeases him more to see talent got to waste. This is the beginning of a very busy 2009 for Digital Insomnia Recordings.
